The Natural History Museum is located in South Kensington in London and is home to more than 70 million life and earth science specimens including insects, fossils and rocks.  Due to the museum’s popularity it is ranked fourth nationally on London’s Top 10 Museums (Squidoo.com, 2010).
The five main collections throughout the museum are categorized as Botany, Entomology, Mineralogy, Paleontology and Zoology.  Along with the scientific value of the collections each piece also brings a great extent of historical value due to the age of the Museum.  The museum contains an extensive library, popular dinosaur exhibit featuring a giant T-Rex and a famous ornate architecture exhibition sometimes referred to as a cathedral of nature.
